Who the Heck am I?
My name is Jordan Kazuko Hayakawa -
I'm an NYC based queer theatre artist!
I am an Ithaca College Grad (BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2024), who has just moved to NYC after a year on tour (more on that down below!)
I grew up in Davis, California (go Aggies!), and grew up dancing and doing theatre with my twin brother James and older sibling Devon.
(all three of us grew up to pursue theatre - oops)
As an artist, I have a passion for telling stories with the help of movement and dance!
I am working to lead with kindness, and striving to create a theatre industry that is
diverse, inclusive, and collaborative.
After closing the 2nd National Tour of Come From Away, and spending an amazing summer in Ithaca working on Waitress at the Hangar Theatre, I have moved to New York City and am tackling life in the Big Apple! I am so excited to see what is in store! If you want to follow along, catch me on
